Note: This report requires access to list matching data.
The Ingredient Lookup report is a unique report that lets you look up a chemical substance in both regulatory lists and your product list. When you look up an ingredient—by either name or CAS number—this report shows:
Which regulatory lists cite the ingredient
Ingredient-specific data from each list
Which products in your product list contain the ingredient
The ingredient's amount in each product
Links to open these products' Product Information pages
Note: Unlike other reports, the Ingredient Lookup report output is always displayed directly in DolphinRTK, and cannot be generated as a PDF or Excel file.
To run the Ingredient Lookup report:
Starting at the Reports page
In the list of List Matching Reports, click Ingredient Lookup.
The Ingredient Lookup page opens.
In the Ingredient field, enter the name or CAS number of the ingredient you seek. If you entered a CAS number, select Search for CAS; if you entered an ingredient name, select Search for Compound Name.
Click Search.
The display shows all ingredients from regulatory lists that match your ingredient name or CAS number.

A Matching Regulatory Lists section shows a list of regulatory lists, each showing a check box at the far right. Each checked list contains this match. If the list includes any ingredient-specific data for this match, this is shown below the list name.
Note: For more information on a regulatory list's terminology, use the Click here for info on regulatory lists link on the Reports page. Here you can get more information on any regulatory list in your system.
Scroll down past the Matching Regulatory Lists section.
Below this section is a list of Products in your inventory with this CAS. If any products in your product list contain an ingredient with this match's CAS number, those products are listed here with the ingredient's amount in each.
Click a product name to open its Product Information page in a new window.
To look up another ingredient, return to step 2.
